Mildura Rural City Council is preparing an Economic Development Strategy 2026-2031. This Strategy will provide Council with a clear direction to achieve economic growth outcomes that supports Mildura’s vision to be a 'liveable, people-friendly community'.

As part of the project, we asked local businesses and community members to complete a survey to help understand specific issues and opportunities for the local economy, as well as identify the economic priorities and needs of business owners and residents.

Thank you to everyone who completed the survey or took part in a workshop for the Economic Development Strategy 2026–2031. Your feedback is invaluable and will help shape the future direction of economic growth in our region.

We are now analysing the information provided and preparing a draft of the Strategy.

The draft Strategy will be available for community feedback on this page in March 2026.
