Help shape our new Arts and Culture Strategy

Mildura Rural City Council is developing a new Arts and Culture Strategy that will shape the future direction of arts, culture and creativity across the region over the next five years and beyond. It will act as a guide for Council’s investment, partnerships, participation and cultural development across the region, while recognising the important role arts and culture play in community identity, wellbeing, tourism and economic development.

Consultation and input from the community is a critical part of the process to develop this strategy. Members of the local community are invited to participate through any or all of the following ways:

1. Deadline: Written submissions can be made up to midnight on Monday 6 July 2026.

3. Length: Written submission can be up to a maximum 6 pages

4. Format: Upload your written submission as either a PDF or Word document (file ending in .pdf or .doc or .docx)

Community members, arts organisations, local business and others are invited to make a written submission for consideration as part of developing the new strategy. Your submission will be considered alongside learnings and insights gathered from the online survey and the local community forums.
