Mildura Rural City Council is considering a reduction in speed limits along Indi Avenue and Cocklin Avenue, Red Cliffs in response to community concerns about road safety.

Council is proposing the following speed limit reductions

• Existing 60km/h limit to be changed to 50km/h on Indi Avenue (see map)
• Existing 100km/h limit to be changed to 60km/h on Cocklin Avenue (see map)

The proposed change in speed limit is being considered due to

• Concerns from local residents regarding existing speed limits
• Ensure consistency of speed limits within the road network
