Have your say on the draft Red Cliffs Walking and Cycling Plan
We are pleased to present the Draft Red Cliffs Walking and Cycling Plan and accompanying Technical Report for review and feedback.
Feedback can be provided via the survey below, or if you prefer a hard copy of the plan and survey can be obtained from the following locations:

The development of the Draft Red Cliffs Walking and Cycling Plan included the following activities:
- An extensive community and stakeholder consultation
- Review of the existing footpath network
- Review of past community enquiries related to road safety
- Analysis of traffic and pedestrian movements
- Review of recent crash data
The Draft Red Cliffs Walking and Cycling Plan has been developed to address and support active transport participation, pedestrian and cyclist safety, and road safety more generally. Some of the key recommendations of the plan include:
- Safer crossing points on Jacaranda Street
- Wayfinding improvements to the cliffs and the river
- Wayfinding improvements between town and Quandong Park/caravan park, Peace Walk and other key locations
- Utilising channel reserves for shared user paths
- Improved lighting and path connections at bus stops
- Speed reductions
The Red Cliffs Walking and Cycling Plan has received $30,000 in funding from the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) Local Government Grant Program to support its development.
