The Draft Masterplan
Thank you to the community who contributed their thoughts and ideas to help shape this Masterplan. Over 150 people provided feedback throughout the extensive consultation period.
We are now pleased to be able to provide you with a further opportunity to provide feedback on the Draft Mansell Reserve Update.

Key Project Actions
The Masterplan outlines an ambitious 49 key actions to help this valuable open space reach its full potential. All actions will be dependent on further design, consultation and funding opportunities.
They include, but are not limited to:
- Improving path connections and shade
- Upgrading the public toilet facilities to be more accessible
- Providing additional shelter and seating opportunities for players, spectators and the general community
- Reducing the number of netball courts. Resurface existing area of courts and include provision for four dedicated Netball Courts (for training and competition overflow)
- Provision fitness loops and equipment for all abilities
- Multipurpose courts for basketball, tennis and netball
- Multipurpose Futsul court (mini soccer) with junior basketball
- Upper body climbing experience for gross motor and core strength development to appeal to older children
- Improving croquet player and spectator shelter and seating
- Improving pedestrian lighting for safety
- Several environmental sustainability initiatives
- Providing more inclusive and natural play experiences while retaining and improving the existing playground
- Providing a pump track for bikes and scooters
- Provision of a learn to ride facility
- Providing flexible space for pop-up community cohesion experiences including ping pong, chess boards and line-marking games
- In-ground trampolines to provides inclusive play and fitness experience
- Croquet club lawns upgrade to irrigation system
- Undertake interim improvements to pavilion to improve safety and usability for stakeholders and broader community
- Improvement to internal carparking
